PREDICTIVE ANALYTICS IS THE FUTURE. WHY?
In this cut throat competitive environment the only chance of any business to optimize its operations and maximize its profits is to choose data driven solutions. Every business or organization generates enormous amounts of data with every transaction it makes. Understanding the patterns of this data and developing new insights would unlock the doors for exponential growth of the business activities. With the availability of fast and cheap computing power data analytics has been a dream come true. Data analytics is a powerful tool which can be applied to almost any known areas of business facets.
My fascination towards the power and the opportunities that can be unleashed by its application to enrich human life is the sole purpose of my interest in this area. I believe that any business would grow rapidly and can make huge profits if only its core idea is to add value to the people. That’s the only reason why some startups are expanding like an oak and some startups are crumbling under the feet of merciless business competition. Add value to the people, give back to the society, enrich human life must be the vision and mission statements of today’s organizations.

Now in the recent years there is a huge buzzing of these words about big data, hadoop, data analytics, business analytics, business intelligence, and predictive analytics. And people have started using these words synonymously. Even though it’s all about data but they do differ slightly as per their applications. Let us look at it this way, there is actually two parts of this data analytics. One the statistical tools applied and the interpretation of the results. Second the algorithms and the software part of it which makes this process of analysis easy and even applicable to huge volumes of data. And let’s get to the coolest part of it that is its application to solve the problems that we face at all arenas of human life. How does it all works? Pretty simple with all the data that we generate, a suitable statistical model is applied to predict a future pattern of the data and this helps to take informed decisions by business leaders, governments etc., but when this statistical model is empowered with technology it becomes a cutting edge tool of prediction. Here are few applications of predictive analytics which would change the world that we see it today Health care, education, employment, environment, transportation and many more.

WHY ARE WE FRUSTRATED WITH OUR JOBS?

1.       OUR INSTINCTS IN ACTION:

I bet there is a joyful and exited stage in many people’s lives as they were just hit with a job offer and landed into an office building. New people, new places, new targets and even money starts coming in. On the pay day you just feel like you have accomplished a great deal in your life. Just as the days passes by months and years passes by slowly a shadow of gloominess starts invading your life. All of a sudden one day the same office, same people and the same work which you were much excited about, at a point of time now seems to be boring. Your monotonous daily routine starts draining your energy. Have you ever thought of why? The reason is YOU.
What? Are you kidding me? Why would I make a hell out of my life? I know that’s exactly what you want to say. But tell me why do you feel differently about the same thing at different points of time in your life? The answer is it’s the way your brains are hardwired. When our ancestors used to live as hunter gatherers in African savannas, Mother Nature have ensured their survival by coding in instinctive functionalities into their brains. One of them is the desire for novelty and the search for new and exciting things around him. This created an instinctive desire to try new foods, desire to explore his surroundings, have a desire to mate with many woman etc., So that he could enhance his chances of survival and evolution. Floating back to concrete jungle and corporate eco system we still instinctively search for this novelty, which when not met creates a sense of boredom and frustration.

2.       INDUSTRIALIZATION:

After the Second World War the economies of many countries were down to their knees. The only chance of a country to exist is to stabilize their economy as soon as possible. This inculcated a desire for secured financial conditions and a need for steady growth. The governments, the leaders, the policies and the entire economy have embraced this need for stability and security.
Then came the industrial revolution where the mindsets and the skills of people were also manufactured by the schools and society. They were made to fit into the community’s and economy’s requirements. The sole purpose was work like a machine and produce. I say the Humachines were the need of the need hour.
Once the globalization has been reached and many countries have attained as status of developed countries and developing countries, but the production of Humachines is still on. But let me remind you that they still are humans, at least partly.  This is creating a conflict between the instincts of the human nature and the requirements of the manmade economy.

3.       MASLOW’S HIERARCHY OF NEEDS:

I strongly believe that the Maslow’s theory of hierarchy needs a revision. Because it has not considered a key aspect of the rate of change of human needs. Of course it has explained the hierarchy of the requirements of humans, but it has not explained to what extent a need of human being will remain in a particular stage of the hierarchy.
Assume that a person has got into a new job with an x amount of pay. But very soon his expenditure would reach y amount where in y would be definitely be greater than x. The rate of change of this difference will always be in the positive direction only. Once he reaches x+1, his requirements would reach y+1 similarly x+n and y+n. This degree of difference and the rate of change are the parameters which would decide that how long a person would be happy with his new job.

All human beings crave for a sense of belongingness, a sense of accomplishment, a sense of control over his life. But when he is put to the discretion of the policies of the company, whims and fancies of his boss, square peg in a square hole attitude of the society. It is for sure that he would get a great amounts of stress built up in his psyche. But imagine that if all his energies can be channelized into a particular task which has always fascinated him. This would give a sense of control on his life, a sense of accomplishment and a joy in to his life. And if this task is noble enough to serve the greater good of humanity then obviously that would be a source of satisfaction for him. So, getting things to a conclusion if a person really wants to be happy and satisfied with his career and if he is expecting lot more than 35 years of service and retirement from his career, then choosing to be an entrepreneur is like choosing to live

5 QUALITIES OF A CHARISMATIC LEADER

1. CLARITY OF THOUGHT:

A Leader must inevitably have a clear vision of what he wants to achieve, even though an entrepreneur doesn't know how to accomplish his goals but he surely knows what his dreams are, because that is what keeps him awake even in the middle of the night. That dream is his source of inspiration and motivation. This vivid mental movie gives life to his intuition and gifts him with a sense of direction. Even in the middle of troubles and tribulations only he can see the light at the end of the tunnel. This clarity of thought makes him reliable and a leader to be followed.

2. PURITY OF HEART:

A leader must have empathy to understand his emotions and the emotions of others. He must not only have IQ but also should have an EQ to win the hearts of his people. A leader builds his trust by the decisions he takes and the actions he performs. He truly believes that the well being of his people is his highest purpose. yet he doesn't differentiate among his people, as his love and affection encompasses them all as a whole.

3. A GENUINE SMILE:

The communication patterns of human species have evolved into such a sophisticated level that our human bodies constantly emit & receive subtle signals of  each other very accurately. The instinctive skill of our reptilian brain of analyzing the other as friend or foe played a crucial role in the survival of homo sapiens when they were living as hunter gatherers in African savannas. And now amidst in this concrete jungle and corporate animals a genuine smile and a fake smile are instantly caught and subconsciously acted upon. Only a leader when truly wants to serve his people can give away a genuine warm smile at all times. Only that person is subconsciously accepted as a leader by all others. Even a formally authorized person cannot stand in the way of this truly charismatic leader.

4. A POLITE WAY OF COMMUNICATING:

Have you ever ordered a kid to do something? i hope your answer is yes. But what was his reaction ?definitely not a good one, because we humans are hardwired to be free and live life on our own terms. So, how do we make others work for us with complete involvement & dedication? That's easy just convey them about the importance of their involvement and the significance of their contribution in a much polite and gentle way. Trust me this is how you get things done by others, there is no other effective replacement. Only a true leader who doesn't assume any power over others but only wants to guide them for their own prosperity and for the greater good understands this principle intuitively.

5. A CONFIDENT BODY LANGUAGE:

There is already a great deal of teachings on the importance of body language and the ways to master it. But this might not really work at all times, because as i have already told that the sophistication of human communications would constantly reveal whats exactly is going on our minds. Trying to replicate an ideal body language would instantly reveal it as an imitation. But a charismatic leader is a person who thinks, feels, says and does the same thing. There is a striking integrity in his personality. This aspect of him is radiated as a very confident body language to all his followers. They would follow his every move and just cant help it. If a leader has embraced all the above traits, his charisma itself drags people towards him and appoints him as a leader and all others as his followers. So, that is the reason people often say leaders are born. It is just their natural charisma in action.

5 SECRETS OF BECOMING A SUCCESSFUL ENTREPRENEUR

1. KNOW WHAT YOU REALLY  ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT:

Many people have made it a norm to live a life accepted by others, a life which fits in to the 'OK' of the society. They have become so busy running in a hamster wheel that they couldn't even realize that they are running in circles. Have you ever thought that is it really necessary to go to school just like every one around you, even though you dint like it? Have you ever thought that is it worthy to do a job which barely pays your bills and not even an inch in your heart? what about your dysfunctional relationships? Have you married to someone because every one else is getting married to someone? This illusion has become a new reality of life.
Yet many of us have found out temporary patch ups for this unrecognized pain in our hearts that we inflict on us unknowingly like TV, food and other useless addictions. But let me tell you life need not be this way, you can be happy just by deciding to be happy.
Dig deeper into your hearts think what has made you feel good in past one week, or month or year. Do you think you will be happy doing it again and again and again and still cant get enough of it. There you go, you have found what you really want to do in your life. Now its time to start doing it and having fun no matter what everyone else around is calling you - crazy, weird, eccentric. Wow!! that would be a good start.

2. SEE HOW YOU CAN SOLVE A PROBLEM:

Now that you have found out what seems to be fun for you, its time to re-evaluate it more or less with your own positive perspective of life. Ask yourself how can i help others? how can i make someone happy just the way I am being happy doing what i love? look out for the problems that people around are not able to solve. This is just the way Buddha has become Buddha. yes! he was moved by the suffering of people around him and decided to solve them. and he choose the path of meditation. Now you choose the path of entrepreneurship. see how you can build a business- solve a problem-have fun-and keep doing it no matter what comes your way.

Its actually a high, taking risk and achieving something. once you have a taste of it you just cant let it go. If that is the case with you, then you have chosen a right path for your life.

 3. ADD VALUE TO THE COMMUNITY:

Entrepreneurship is not all about making money and living a luxurious life. if you are on that opinion you better stop reading this and go watch some TV. Because that is where people sell you colorful dreams. In reality entrepreneurship is a crazy high with a vision of changing the face of the world for the sake of humanity. Think for a second how much resources that you have consumed from the planet? and what have you given back ? s**t. Is that all you are living for? manufacturing s**t for 70-80 years. No! we humans can do better, we can give back to the society, to the humanity and to the plant.

Here you have found a vision, a purpose for your life to unfold. This is the intersection area of your dreams and the prosperity of the humanity. Maximize this area by adding as much value as you can and wealth would be the bi-product of your efforts but not that same old s**t.

4. POUR IN ALL YOUR LIFE YEARS:

There are many people who have set out for a sail in the rough waters of entrepreneurship yet there were only a few who have succeeded. Have you ever thought why? because that is lack of perseverance, grit and the ability to visualize success.Yes! you have heard me right. There is no other reason for failure other than not sticking to your guns. No matter what keep pushing, burn all the bridges behind, there is no plan B. Sticking to the same old day job might seem to be safe and secure, but realize that you are torturing yourself and putting your soul to a slow and painful death. Its better to die pursuing your dreams rather than being tiered all the time trying to be in status-quo.

5. SECRETLY LIVE A SPIRITUAL LIFE WITHIN YOURSELF AT ALL TIMES:

There is a great deal of misconception of being spiritual and being ambitious. In fact they are complimentary to each other. The more you are spiritually grounded the higher the performance is. Good principles, gratitude, kindness and love are the core foundations of a successful personality.

An inquiry in to the life style of many successful entrepreneurs would make it obvious that meditation, contemplation and gratitude would be a integrated part of their life style. This way of living would brace you to withstand the turbulence of the demanding life style.
